1959 Voigtländer Bessamatic
The Voigtländer Bessamatic is a professional grade 35mm leaf shutter SLR camera made by the Voigtländer division of the Zeiss-Ikon conglomerate in the late 1950s with variations continuing until 1969. It has an uncoupled selenium cell reflective light meter and interchangeable bayonet lenses which were still very cutting edge in the late 50s. Because of the limited distance to the film plane due to the Compur shutter arrangement, the shortest lens available on the Bessamatic is 35mm.
